I have a canyon torque on 8, 2021. Battery needs replacing as it’s done over 6000km and doesn’t last too long anymore.
Is it possible to fit one of the second generation Shimano 630w batteries into it? It currently has a 500w.
Thanks
Paul
I don't know specifically about that bike, but I have an early Vitus with the E8000 motor, and you could upgrade to the 630Wh battery but either "adjusting the bottom mount" (hacking at it) or buying a replacement mounts to fit the bigger battery
I've not looked to see if these are the correct model number, but just to give you the idea, it can be done

FYI really. I’d probably check to see what batteries shimano says will work with your other ecomponents.

*** if the above links don’t work google shimano battery compatability
Another option might be to check out battery rebuilders, I’m not sure if there are commercial suppliers as it’s a bit of a closed shop, anyway

Thanks, I’ll check out the Shimano sites above. Edit. I have e8035.
Z1ppy it’s internal so I don’t know if it’s the same.
If it doesnt fit I think I’ll have to just buy a 500w again as I really like the bike aside from battery power
Edit:
It seems if you have 8035L you can upgrade from 500 to 600, but not with 8035

sorry I wasn't aware they did an larger internal battery options, I'd only seen the external one
