anyone had any experience with these brakes?

my new giant x4 has them, but i cant find any info on them?

are they any good at 185fr and 160rr or should i go for a 203fr and 185rr?

do you have the bike or is that the website saying it comes with them?

A lot of sites say the xtc range come with alivio brakes and it's simply not true.

well my xtc had juicy 3's and the entire spec was wrong on the giant site.

Look at the description and then look at the zoomed in picture. Quite clearly avids.

The giant site is appaling and they don't ever answer e-mails.

I have seen reviews of the Anthem X4 where they have mentioned these brakes (aka M486)
According to WMB they work fine most of the time,but may overheat if you do a lot of long descents.
