[Closed] Shimano Alfine Dynamohub repairable?

Unusual question for the STW hive mind.

My alfine dynamohub only seems to be powering my light during part of the revolution of the wheel. Some of the coils passing the magnets will light the LED and some wont. I have no idea what's going on here, though admittedly haven't taken it apart yet.

Are the internals replacable like the other dynohubs?

Google hasn't helped me much.

More info, the light it's going through is not a fancy thing and doesn't have any fancy circuitry so it's pretty easy to see it lighting unevenly during rotation.

I don't think you could get a spare, unless from a donor hub.

I heard they lose their magnetism unless you take them apart properly?

I don't think they lose their magnetism, but IIRC some of the electrical connections are easy to damage taking it apart. Maybe easier getting a replacemeent hub and re-lacing the wheel.
