Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a Shimano front hub from 15mm to qr? I've seen conversion kits for mavic, hope etc but never for Shimano. Can I just jam a set of mavic converters in and it'll work fine. Surely as all 15mm wheels are compatible with all 15mm forks, in terms of hole diameter and width, then the coverters are compatible too. Or is this far too simplistic and a good route to a ride in an air ambulance?
We use the Mavic converters in most 15mm hubs including Shimano.
We have had no problems with XT or XTR yet
