Hi guys
Done lots of searching and research on this, and it has got me thinking. I just wanted STW experiences.
What shimano lever are you running? How does it feel?
And how does it compare to other brakes?

Not sure about Magura-Shimano hybrid, but friend of mine made successfully Shimektro marriage working nice and without any hiccups...

I have two sets one with deore levers and one set with zee levers, the deore feel slightly better to me less lever throw than the zees. I have found that using the magura barb and olive seals better than the Shimano ones which have leaked for me.
Amazing brakes nothing else I have tried has come close massive power.
I like the original levers but have had the lever seal fail on both sets that's why I put Shimano levers on.
I've got marta mag SL calipers with 9sp xt dual control levers - works perfectly, power and modulation are spot on, admittedly they might be a bit older than you're looking at......
I used to have an XT lever with a Magura Louise caliper. It worked fine and was almost indistinguishable from the full Shimano setup.
