Hi,

I have just replaced my shifters with Shimano Deore M6000. I run 2 x 10. The front derailleur is Shimano SLX.

These were replaced by my LBS, however I now have problems shifting cleanly into the large front right. It is fine when on the flat but as soon as I am on a slight hill it crunches and takes 2 or 3 goes to eventually get there.

My previous shifter worked fine.

I have tried moving out the High setting and also increased cable tension but this only seemed to make it worse. I took back to my LBS who reset everything following my adjustments (they assured me it would be fine).

However, I am now back to the point where changes are only clean on flat surfaces.

Any suggestions on how to fix this please ?

Thanks

If full suss has the front mech been adjusted with the suspension sagged?

Is the mode convertor on the left hand shifter in the correct position for the front derailleur? Used to be 3x or  2x, now A or B. Some mechs use middle/top (2x/B), some mechs need low/middle (3x/A).

You are easing off pedalling as you shift?

Odd tho, if the mech has remained the same
