Bought a new bike the other day that came with a Saint shifter mounted directly to a hope break leaver. I want to change the breaks to Shimano but I will then be left with no shifter clamp. Anyone know where I can get hold of the correct shifter clamp or if there is another way of mounting it? Shifter looks like this one but with out the mount.

any help welcome?
It's 'brake', and 'lever'. Just saying.
thanks for the help.
I think it depends on which version of I-Spec (The mounting standard) it is currently fitted with. You can fit I-Spec shifters to Shimano brakes.
This link may help?

You just need some of the latest 10 speed shimano brakes. Ie NOT XTR M9000, XTM8000 or SLX M7000 which are all the newer ispec II 11 speed.
So Zee, Saint, XT M785 etc should all be fine. You will probably be missing the barrel nut and pin though that come with the shifter as they are not needed on the hope fitting
You can get xt m8000 in ispec b also, probably slx too. As Andy says if you haven't got the fitting bits then you'll need to buy a new shifter or ask nicely on here if someone's got spares, one for the lbs maybe?
You can get XT M8000 shifters in ispec B as well as ispec II but I thought the brakes were only ispec II due to the narrower clamp?
The ispec B bolt kit is £7-8 I think. Pretty steep for a couple of bolts and nuts.
You get the barrel and pin for ispec B and the long silver square based nut for retrofitting ispec B shifters to original ispec (A) brakes which also work with Hope. I need a one or 2 of those if you end up with any spares 🙂
