The bike voucher scheme is back open and has a functioning website this time!

Much as I’d like a free £50
It is not intended to cover upgrades to already roadworthy machines. We want to reach those people to whom the £50 voucher will make a real difference between repairing their bike and not doing so. A limited number of vouchers are available so please consider the needs of others before applying.

Very much this - it's not intended to help us with our toys, it's to help people who need to get a "normal" bike functioning for transport

Seems like there's plenty of people here that could make good use of it without needing to feel guilty though.
