I took my 11 year old daughter round the new red route today on her first real ride. She certainly looked the part with her new helmet, gloves and skeeter camelbak.
Even though it started to rain as we pulled up she was still up for it.
She did pretty well up untill the last mile or so when she had had enough and I had to constantly lie and say it's just round this corner,up this hill etc.
Once back at the van we ate the packed lunches and she told me it had been good but she didn't like the wet roots or the mud.
Now I just need to go back myself and rail it round.
P.S as we pulled up there was a guy hanging his bike on the bike rack on the back of what looked like a ferrari, bling! bling! anyone off here?
Yeah, that's mine.
(not really - It's a 460 seen it there before)
glad you enjoyed.
can be tricky in the wet
oh yeah!
heard of ferrari before, supposed to be a local
Sounds like you both had fun, it is quite a fun little course really.
Aye it was good fun, shame the weather turned to crud.
Would imagine the route would be good as a night ride.
oh here you go then... as you insist....

meet up and get on![/url]
rides really good at night, especially in the twisties 😀 😀
Pook I will look out for the next meet, I couldn't get to the last one as me wife decided to chuck her self on't floor in the ice and break her ankle 🙄
So not much riding for me over the last 10 weeks, but she is now on her feet.
And I have racked up some serious brownie points 😆
