ARGH! Spoke too soon! Shark cage upper jockey wheel hits parallelogram on Di2 mech......

Options:

1) fit to my other bike (which has mech shifting)
2) Machine smaller upper jockey wheel
3) Take grinder to Di2 mech
4) Machine new cage with revised pivot position
5) Flounce around in a huff for a while

Currently doing option 5) .......

6) Put mechanical shifting from other bike on the bike you're trying to fit this to. Realise it still doesn't work and mega flounce.

I'd go for option 3.

That is my default option for all component fit issues.

I've found option 6) Look at it for a bit whilst drinking tea.

That^^ should keep me busy for a while yet, before i take an angle grinder to the mech 😆

Right! Is this a World First ?? I could be!

50 (count em!) 'lecy shifted XTR Di2 teeth!

It's taken 5 hrs of careful fitting, some er, die grinder work, making a new spring for the "crash release" mechanism, and playing around with chain lengths and mech position adjustment.

If you want to know the "trick" to make it all work, ask me 😉

Not sure why Di2 on a bike with no front mech? All the expense and weight but zero benefit surely?

All that effort and you didn't use the right colour / placement of the cable tie. Slacker.
