So ive read most of the reviews regarding the shan and there doesnt seem to be much suggesting its any good (apart from its steel is real etc)
Has anyone got one and also ridden a rocket? how does it compare?
Apparently Rockets snap if you even say 'Enduro' to them in a quiet voice. So, Shan for me. 🙂

That's unfair Nobeer, they only break on slightly bumpy red grade trails, like Sherwood pines and the like.

Completely unqualified opinion, I've always had the Shan bikes down as a bit more form than function, whereas I've had 3 Cotic bikes and they were all brilliant.
Tough call...

I've got a Rocket but demoed a Shan No 5 with a mate at the steel is real event.
I'm a Production Privee fanboi and a Cotic fanboi to be honest.
The Shan No5 was awesome. Lovely bike. Better than a Rocket? Nah. Both great bikes.
