Has this ever been done on a mtb? I've yet to have a pedal about on one. I may get chance tomorrow. 🙂

These may only be fit for pootling around the city, but just think titanium hardware........................

TJ, can see what you mean but as an alternative to claggy mud could be possibility, if they could be made to seal properly

They use Nexus hubs so you can even have some gears!

Think the shaft drive housing it used as the chainstay. Keeping the whole drivechain sealed as one unit is probably more heavy, but then fewer seals to go wrong and drag I guess.

I'd like to get my hands on one, but it's basically just because I want to have a go.

However, if we are going to have an enclosed drive system, a chain will be much more efficient and lighter.
