What do you use?

I've looked online and found a method of inside leg in cm and minus 10 cm to measure the centre of the cranks
to the top of the saddle.

Seems a little low with knee bend, but more comfy on the saddle!

Heel on pedal at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Adjust for stack height of shoes.

generally I'd say set it how you think it should be, then lower it by an inch. nearly everybody runs too high

Since you think it's too low, stay with it and try raising by half cm increments

Thanks,

I measured the inside leg (cm and take away 10 cm for the bottom bracket (centre) to the top of the saddle.

Seems 1-3 cm low using this method (for me) and the heel to pedal matches the added 1-3 cm.

Also saddle pressure has gone (way too high before) and no rocking of hips.

Same here (leg should be outstretched) as a good starter but I prefer it 1cm or so higher.

0.883 * inside leg from bb to saddle also (Greg Lemond IIRC)
