Same place as for a triple, just wind in the limit screw on the mech so you can't shift passed the middle (now outer) ring.

Cheers, no front mech on at the moment, so will have to put the 44T outer ring on to set up, then replace it with bash, then adjust mech to not go past middle ring. Is this correct?

Yes, its tricky to get the height right with just a bashring on. Set it up for triple then wind in limit stop.

I ran mine a little lower, most people say not to but I got equivalent shifting with less chain noise so I was happier that way. my advice is don't worry about getting the height "right", the normal position's essential for 3 ring shifting but doesn't seem to be all that criticial for dual.

I find the only problem is the height

really hard to get to clear the bash ring and be low enough so that the chain doesn't rub when on the granny ring
