I'm in the pocess of building up a cx/gravel bike, runnin 1x11.
However having ridden SS for the last n years chain length has been easy to set.
I remember ay bc running 3x9 to set he correct chain length you run round the biggest small at the back and big at the front to get the optimum length.
(I know it is slightly wrong, but yoy get the idea).
So how do I set the optimal length on a cutched 1x11 setup. Run through the mech or not and add an extea link?
Cheers.
Should be easier, biggest at the back and make sure the mech is not on the limit of its forward movement. Not like there is any suspension growth to account for.
Ta.
Chain around the big un on the back, NOT through the derailleur and overlap the chain by four links.
Sort of like a SS + 4 links.
