There seems to be a slight seepage from my Pear 3.1 shock. TF tuned do service kits for them at a rather extortionate 58 quid.

How hard is it going to be to service and is it worth the 58 quid or should I just stump up a bit more for a new shock?

I thought they were sealed units and all you could do was effectively and air can service. If that's right prolly worth getting a new or 2nd shock.

199 gets you a new float so ebay may be the answer.. then get it serviced.

Damper on these is not servicable but air can seals are a easy enough to remove.

Faced with the same problem recently i decided to replace it with a brand new vanR from TFtuned for £189 inc the right fitting hardware.

Not sure the Pearl is worth spending money on.
