Does anyone know of a bike shop in the North east that can service an Alfine hub?

I'd rather not have to send my Alfine away and I'm tempted to not get in to it myself as it's running a little bit rough and I want someone who's done it before to have a look.

I've herad that TBC in Edinburger service Alfines but that's a wheel gone in the post for a few weeks rather than a weekend or a bit.

Cheers

Have your tried Edinburgh bike? They do lots of hybrids with hub gears, so may be worth asking

I think the "Bicycle Repair Man" in Low Prudhoe do them. When I bought a new commuter from them last month they were showing me Giants with them on to me and saying how easy they were to work on.

Looking at your commute post the other day, you could even detour to them in the morning then do Prudhoe to Stocksfield by train!
