hi all ive got a pair of fox 36 rc2 forks that could probbably do with a bit of a service as im not sure when they were done last??

i know they were dont by tftuned in aug 07 but not since??

is it something i can do myself or are there lots of littles bits inside ??

ive serviced my revelations before if it helps!!

Are they Floats or Vans?

Vans are very easy to do. Never done any Floats but cant imagine them being and more difficult.

oh yes sorry they are floats and are 2005/6 vintage

I'd imagine the cartridge is the same as the Vans I've got. I've done it a couple of times myself. There's a how to guide on the Fox website. originally, it was touted that you couldn't go inside the cartridge but actually, you can.

is there something as simple as a lower leg oil change i can do until i can save some cash to get them to tf??

Yes! The lower leg oil change is the most importat bit to do and takes about 2o minutes. Top tip seems to be to put too much in (i double the reccomendation) as it's for lubrication only it means you don't need to do it quite so often.
