Got serious choice anxiety. Never before have I had near enough carte blanche on a colour, bike, car, whatever. At most I've been offered 2 maybe 3 choices, and picked the one I liked most from those.

Right now I have the whole RAL scale to pick from pretty much!

So... Full sus frame. Main frame & swing arm (can be same or different colours)... Your suggestions please?

I had been considering 4010 for the front to be fair, probably with 9005 rear end though.

I'm trying to find "JCB Yellow" to get my Rocket resprayed. Thought I found it on that chart (1021) but I'm not sure I can ride a bike that is sprayed "rape yellow"...

Turns out JCB yellow is 1007 so that's fine.

I think a lot of the colour choice would depend on the frame choice?

It would to me anyway. 🙂

If that's josh's main frame, I wouldn't like to see the swing arm.

and, Matt's right – splatter FTW.

It's going to be next year's big thing isn't it?

Hope so anyway.

The same shade as your typical trail ground, so it always looks clean and you can stalk others while camouflaged. 😉

Problems with your colourway bro?

Get it matched to the colour of your skin and ride it naked. Will be really hard to work out pipe from pipe.

Tempting but I didn't want to be accused of being boring!

It's a bike...who cares about the colour, just get out and ride the damn thing!

Has pretty much always been my approach in the past. Having got the choice I am now faced with severe anxiety!

Red bikes always look good.

New road bike is red and I don't want two bikes the same colour. Existing full sus is Sky Blue which would also have been a firm favourite but don't want to duplicate.

Err... exactly what frame is this for?

A new one (to me)

Liteville? They offer completely custom colours..

So do most powder coaters funnily enough! 😉

No I actually ride my bikes! Most stick around a year or so (no real rule but working in the trade it pays to get rid before they lose too much value), but if I don't get on with it it'll go sooner. My Maverick is in the classifieds now, I've owned that 8yrs!

1016, sulphur yellow. Or 1026 lumi yellow

Strong choices, but I'd probably go for a slightly more yellow shade of yellow if that makes sense. Still bright though.

Poo brown FTW.

I guess it would hide the evidence of riding through dog eggs!

Couldn't possibly comment. Except to say I'm not into pastel colours. I like bold striking colours and/or a total absence of colour.

Crying with laughter sharkattack, you couldn't have summed it up better!

Currently this is winning for the main frame...

[img] [/img]

Appears to have a bit of a flip to it, cos looks more purple under some lights, and blue under others.

Thinking go old school and have a black swingarm, just like I had on my 96 Orange X1!

Components will be all black and silver, Burgtec bars have Yellow logo. Reckon it should all work well together.
