Thinking of moving on my Ritchey, which I didn't think I'd ever sell. More interested in the MTB or classic motorbikes nowdays...

Slightly niche build with Gevenalle 1x9, which is a bit marmite, so not sure if it would be better to split it and sell in parts?

I'm having the same thought with my V2, but I do love it so I'm considering keeping the frameset safely tucked away and moving on the rest as I'd kick myself if I ended up wanting another down the line and having to pay full price for another frameset/bike.

Haha not a stealth ad honest! If it was I’m in the Scottish Borders 😉

J fab have actually considered the same, just pop it in the loft which would help make room in the shed. I’d imagine my wife would complain that was silly though.

Oooof!

That's very much my sort of gravel bike, but I'm over bicycled as it is and need to curb purchasing...

You might do better parting out, but do you have the patience? Flogging bits is a chore these days with scammers and time wasters galore.

That said the frame Will definitely sell and gevenalle stuff is pricey new so you'll shift a used pair no doubt.

Maybe just divide it up into the major sub-assemblies, bars with levers and tape still on just a few bolts to undo, flog the wheelset with tyres and cassette still mounted no point faffing about disassembling the whole lot. Bundle up all the other drivetrain bits (mech and cranks). Then sell the frameset/fork with seatpost, headset and stem still attached, potentially saves a buyer some other purchases, you some bother and probably nudges the price paid up.

@restlessshawn it's not as silly as selling it for a loss, and then re-buying it at full price 🙂
