In a process of building up a hard tail for my missus. Its getting a set of Reba's, deore wheels and I've just ordered slx brakes from bike discount. Which once delivered will go on errr ...my bike and she can have the hayes rydes. Same as the 9 speed setup and I'll put 2 up front.
So I'm buying, slightly selfishly, either 10 speed cassette, shifter and shadow plus mech or an 11 speed setup. 10 is cheap at the moment but is it a false economy especially with a inevitable move to 40 t at the back? I'm currently just getting by on a 1x with 30t/f and 34t/r.
