Tested my homebrew helmet light last night and it was good. Needs a little felting though as the mount moves around a little although secured it flaps a bit. Currently got a BLT helmet mount that has side mounts and sits flat (well curved) on the top of the helmet ( a pisspot). Currently using velco threaded through the top of the air vents and through side lugs but need a secure it a little. Any ideas before I have a think ( it's been a long day!). Think removable lumi zip ties too or maybe some additional velco actually on the base (and top of helmet). Lugs are just slots at the side of the mount.
- Just a had detailed look and the velcro supplied has large hoops so thinking of shimming these out so there's no movement. Still want to secure at the base though. Can only think of double sided tape ( permanent) or velcro ( although this may move around a little too)
