Middlesbrough to Sunderland(off-roadish)37 miles,3113 kcal consumed,Av speed 9.5mph,backside-not as red rare as after the first ride.I must admit I had the wind at my back for most of the journey.The weather was cool and sunny.
Only complaint was the attitude of the train staff on the return leg.They didn't seem to like me or my Banshee X blocking the isle.Oh and time.Including breaks I was travelling for 3.50hours.Apes.

Thanks aracer,Perhaps Durham city and back or two different routes to Newcastle.My Carrera makes for a very interesting XC/Road bike at just shy of 35lbs.Still,travelling through the NE with a set of Bombers on the front has its uses!
Strangely, my steed felt worse after a good clean and oil than it did when a touch mucky!Any of you noticed this?
