It's for a Stumpjumper...
considering swapping the dropper out for a longer drop..currently is 34.9...looking at a 21.6 dropper.
The eXotic cycles carbon shim is fifteen quid from amazon, and I like the fact it's 150mm long.
Will a carbon shim be fine in a carbon frame?
Any issues to worry about...will I die??

It says it's out of stock.
The USE plastic ones are a tenner, and work very well. I’ve used a few over the years, no issues.
Amazon says NINE in stock!
I can't fine any USE ones in the size i need, unfortunately..

EDIT..scrap that..i wasn't looking hard enough!!
I can understand the paranoid desire for a longer shim, recently went shim shopping myself. I suspect carbon in contact with an aluminium alloy seatpost should be the biggest concern and a plastic USE shim a better bet. Google galvanic corrosion. Or wait for some smartarse to point out why my fears are unfounded
How about 2 shims. One at the top and one at the bottom so the post can't wiggle in the frame. Just add a small piece of double sided tape to hold the bottom shim in place.
Been using the USE plastic one for the past 19 months and no death has ensued.
My spidey senses were tingling when i got it, just seemed wrong.
No idea about carbon, sorry.
eXotic are just the run of the mill Chinese stuff with a well known name. I happily use the completely uknown Chinese stuff with the same results.
I like that , bummer they don't have 30.9 to 31.6
