I've got a 30.9 seatpost that I want to use in a Boardman CX which takes 31.6.

Can you get shims, and if so what size do I need / what do I google.

Ta

My use shim was a fiver from winstanleys same size as yours. If you can't get one I'd sell mine as not using it since changing frames?

Hmm I've recently bought a Tailgator for Jnr FD. I was predominantly going to tow him with my Mountain Bike, which is 30.9 So I just bought a 30.9 seat post which I can permanently put the Tailgator bracket on to as its a faffy spanner job.

Im going up to Norhtumberland tomorrow and thought I might actually be better taking the CX bike which is 31.6.

Ive rung round this morning and no one in my area stocks shims, and the cheapest I can get a seat post is £20 !!

Oh well looks like taking a few spanners to take the brack on and off..
