More and more frames these days, even from more traditional/conservative frame builders & bike manufacturers seem to have seat tube braces, now I guess they're all trying to go slacker/lower?
BUT I just think they're plain ugly on a lot, if not most bikes, especially steel hardtails, so are they [i]really[/i] necessary?
