Wondering if this will cause a problem with my new frame If I use one fir a G dropper??

I think that most frames have a minimum insertion point for a seatpost (which is not the same as the minimum insertion point for the post) and I think that the shim needs to meet, or extend beyond, this. Generally I think that it's a point somewhere below the seattube/toptube weld, but it's probably best to contact the manufacturers for something definitive.
