Anyone happen to know of a bike shop with the KS i7 seat post in stock....
It's a long shot asking here but I'm getting desperate. Most large stockists are bare and Superstar don't have any either. Perhaps the wonders of you eagle eyed STW members may be able to help me out.
I was in the same predicament a few months back. Tried everywhere, then looked for the Gravity Dropper and struggled with that also. That was enough for me to give up so in the end I was offered a frame. Last I heard the i7 would not be in stock and ready until around August time.
It appears the seat dropping post manufacturers are leaving behind posts in the 27.2-30.0 range these days which is a shame.
What about the X-Fusion? They looked ok. Are they available?
think its a mixture of people dropping (hoho) them and a change in importer/distributor, I was lucky to get one of the last GDs from wiggle on clearance recently (ie available and cheap), sure someone posted on a similar thread that CRC were taking up importer role for the GD.
The hilo seems to be the only 27.2 you can get your hands on at the mo.
This seems to be the general state of play. I think I'll order an x-fusion. It looks good and I wasn't a huge fan of the piggy back format of the KS anyway.
