Another Spoon worn out, so just popped over to Merlin and picked up one of these:

Yes, they ming, but they're £29.99 and should hopefully fit my SDG shaped arse.

Cheers for that...trying to decide in white and grey or white and green.

Got to be worth a shot because in not that impressed with the quality or comfort of my Charge Knife.

Not sure I'd bother if you find the Spoon uncomfy.

They are very, very similar, but with slightly softer padding, no stitching, Ti rails and a slot in the base to give a little more flex.

I find Spoons fine apart from the stitching.

Much of the hardware is similar, so possibly another Velo manufactured clone?
Didn't twig quite how similar they were until I fitted it about ten minutes ago!

Bit of an update.

About 75 miles in and it's great.

As I said, same shape as a Spoon, but the padding is comfier, the smooth cover doesn't rub like the stitched Charge can and it's a lot cheaper than a Ti Spoon.
Seems to flex a little more too, not as 'dead' feeling.

Highly recommended.

For comparison I also get on with Bel Airs, San Marco Rolls & Brooks.

Ta.
