Anyone in for Rd1 of the SES at Laggan this weekend?

Any ideas what to expect track wise?

If it's anything like last one, split between wolftrax side and brown side. Has been manky in the past, but trails look pretty good atm, I reckon it'll be ace, wish I was there. All the best!.

I'm in

Based on prior years and a wee recce last weekend I'm  expecting two around the trail centre side and three on the brown side (5 stages according to the email that just came out) It was bone dry at the weekend and running very well. Some excellent work done on the brown side. Running so well. Heading up early-ish on Friday to setup camp

Cheers Bob and Nobeer. So a mix of mud on one side (or sticky clay if it is drier) and rock the other? Shorty and DHR it is then....

Forecast was decent when I checked last week but not quite so good now...

The first year was bone dry, the brown was crumbling into dust. This may never happen again.

There's only been one really muddy year up at laggan that thankfully I missed. Even when it's been damp the brown side doesn't turn into a quagmire

<span style="text-decoration: underline;">wow</span>

What a weekend. The stages were fantastic. How good was stage 3! Great to see everyone after the off season and the atmosphere was great. Roll on Inners for round 2

Struggled to keep momentum in 1 and 2 but apart from that was amazing. Ran the drop off on 3 today though 😀

Good weekend, lots of rapid riders!

I found Stages 2 and 4 tough TBH! Looking forward to the next one, hopefully the weather will be the same....

2 was the toughest of the day. So hard to gauge where to push and where to back off. 4 was great too. Some really good lines taped in.

I fear boardinbob when you say push you mean maximum effort but if I were to say that it would actually mean just to push the bike over an obstacle....

Loved the whole weekend, weather played ball, trails where excellent, bit of a nightmare on stage 2, came off twice and just couldn't get momentum,in hindsight I tried to push too hard the whole way down the middle section, lesson learned, all in all a superb weekend of riding 😀
