As the above title has anyone tried I've if these Scott packs. I need to replace my old Camelback Lobo, ideally with something a little bigger & a fellow club member has suggested the FR12 which are going rather cheap right now.
Any info would be much appreciated.

I have one.very pleased with it. The pocket that you put the drinks bladder into is a bit fiddly and to me there are too many straps but overall good.

What kind of load can you get into it? Is the back protector any good or just additional weight?

Back protector is good. It's external and you need someone to push it against your back to shape it.
