Would it put you of ownership with all those cables up front , brakes , gears , dropper and lockouts I make that 7 , any users , experience,s .
I knew quite a few peope who bought Scott Ransoms and all of them had multipe shck failures. Seen one or two broken frames too. Put me off Scott and propietary shock weirdness for good.
Which is probably unfair, because their modern bikes are a million miles away from the Ransom. But for me, I prefer flat pedals, no lockouts, no fiddling, just jump on and go.
Aye, I know of two people who've had the rear brake fail because of wear on the hose where it enters the frame. In euro spec the hoses route a bit better, but the angle of the rear brake makes it vulnerable in UK style.
