[Closed] Scott Scale Seat tube dent...??

Hi Guys,

I've just noticed a dent on my seat tube not noticed it before...is this a dent or is it meant to be like that.

If it is a dent do you think its safe to ride..will it come under warranty..Its a Scott Scale Carbon.

Can't even see a dent. But I presume it'll be one for a different type of front mech mount.

It's meant to be like that. Scotts have very large seat tubes, and the 'dent' is where the seat tube narrows enough to put a front mech on.

It's supposed to be there, as mentioned above it's where the front mech ends up when on the granny ring.

Sorry just noticed it's the E Type mech one. That 'dent' is so the mech can move inboard enough to shift onto the little ring. The seat tube comment is still valid though!
