Any real world comparisons between the 2?
Looking to get a big wheeler and read some good things for the scale 700's, I'll be trying to get a test ride but has anyone else compared the 2?

Depends how tall you are to a degree.
I've ridden the 7 recently (several times) and cant complain. Did all I expected it to do. But Im not a XC person, so cant compare it to other XC bikes. Im more of a winch and plummet type rider, so I found it bloody fast uphill and it scared me downhill.
My riding mates said it made me a quicker rider, until I lost the front on a corner, then they just laughed at me.
