Greetings!
I've been eyeing up this bike (Scott Genius 710 Plus 2017) for a while, and it's just got even cheaper today.
Just wondering if anyone has got one and could share their views. My main concern is about the semi-fat tyres - do they not make it quite sluggish in the dry and extremely slippy in the mud?
K
I've got the alloy version.
I've noticed I'm significantly faster uphill, on the flats, and down hill than on my Trigger or 29er ht.
The rims are 40mm - Could possibly run 2.3 tyres in winter as the grip is not great in slippy mud with 2.8/3.0.
Its not very lls. I'm 5'7" and have med. Wish I had a large. Will probably add a offset bushes or headset in the summer. (if I can work out what headset I need... so confusing...)
Thanks Earl - much appreciated
