I've just purchased this frame and struggling to work out if I need to get tapered forks or standard forks? I'm a beginner to bike building... Please don't shoot me down if it's a simple answer. Thanks. Scott
You can run tapered or standard on those.
You just need the right headset to match.
Ok so if I was to get tapered then Id need a tapered headset? So it's not the head tube that's tapered itself? Thanks a lot.
The frame you have runs a 44mm internal diameter headtube with 50mm outer diameter; some frames have tapered headtubes but not yours.
So yep you need a tapered semi integrated 44mm headset config to pop tapered forks in
Or a 44mm i.d. 1 & 1/8th headset to run standard forks
