You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I'm looking to head up North for a few days this summer and I'm looking for inspiration. I've ridden the Golfie a few times, it's obviously amazing. I really enjoy either natural enduro tracks or bike park stuff, less keen on trail centres. About 10 years ago I did some riding around Aviemore and Ballater and it was really good. What should be on my hit list? Any options need to be easy to navigate/well established/on Trailforks so I don't end up wasting my time getting lost too much!
Dunkeld
Kinlochleven
Ballater and surrounding area a lot more to offer than 10 years ago. Search YT for Ballater Heartbreak ridge, Aboyne Chutney and Relish, Banchory, new Tarland trails. A lot of stuff in a c10mile radius of Ballater.
Thanks I'll have a look at Ballater, Dunkeld and Kinlochleven. How easy is it to find the trails?
Download a ridelog off of trail forks and follow that. I do that regularly.

Can't quite work out if this covers normal just mtbing or not. Ie do you want info on just normal rides?
I wouldn't class what I do as trail centre or bike park or enduro, but the way youn phrased it seems to imply you have covered all known bases so perhaps "natural enduro" covers what I class as "just riding".
Anyway currently on the M74 headed for Ballater so hope to provide tedious amounts of photos and info in a couple of days 🙂
In the mean time, have a gander at this
