I'm a bit out of touch with biking these last few years and trying to help a mate sort some new tyres for his bike.

Am I right in thinking the the Addix performance grade is not good or is it an improvement on the old performance grade which I remember losing grip very easily?

Thanks.

Addix is their high end family of compounds with ultra soft, soft, speed grip and speed, from sticky to fast. The stickier two are similar to MaxxGrip and MaxxTerra.

Not something I know anything about, but Schwalbe has a page about Addix on their website.

The "Performancs" ones are a chesper/harder compound, essentially same as before.

Thanks George, maybe not the best option then.

I had a set of the addix performance, I think they're better than the old Performance were but let's be honest they were made of boiled leather or something, just terrible. The new ones are a little better I think but still not very good.
