Fellow niche-mongers will be excitedly awaiting the new, cheap, light fat tyres.
Any ideas if the weights are accurate or subject to the usual bike company 30% bullshit addition?
IME, Schwalbe's quoted weights are fairly reliable (er...relatively speaking). Have bought quite a few Snakesin NN, RR, HD and found them normally +/- 25g of advertised weight (in 26"); their 29" tyres seem to be more like +/- 40g of advertised weight. I guess (...or hope!) Schwalbe QC by a set percentage of their designed weight. Luck of the draw I guess, but I've got a 29 HD that's been 28g under weight and another that's been 38g over.
