Is anyone using these, had much experience of them - tossing up between these and 28mm Pro-One's for the Diverge for some road stuff over the summer. Would be running tubeless, obviously.

What's the wear/durability like, handling and rolling resistance (I need all the help I can get!).
Pro-One's are substantially cheaper, but I do fancy the G-One's all other things being equal.

I've used both. Pro Ones are a pure road tyre, and less robust than the earlier 'Ones' but good grip, speed and suppleness.

G-One Speed (what used to be called S-One) is more of a do-anything tyre, so slower, heavier but more robust than the Pro One.

Pays yer money, makes yer choice. Depends on what you are riding on. G-One Speed will take rough roads and the odd towpath. Pro One is just road.

Check the Germanz for cheaper prices on G-Ones.

Preference for just road riding would be the Pro One for me. I have S-Ones (Which are the old version of G-one Speeds, probably?) on my Allroad wheels, so they're great for road/gravel rides. Pro-Ones are that bit quicker though, as well as being cheaper. Durability seems good.
Pro Ones are the tyres I'd definitely buy again.

(Blimey, 2 posts, posted almost simultaneously and pretty much in agreement. That's gotta be a first! 🙂 )

I've run both. I ran the original One Tubeless, and replaced them with the G One Speed. Both on Ksyrium non UST rims. For general riding and comfort I'd pick the G One Speed. It's a great tyre; comes up as a 28c on 19 mm rims. I run them at lower pressures 65-75 PSI (am 67 kg). Rolling resistance feels low, and compliance on poor surfaces is good. Wet weather behaviour is fantastic (rode three hours last night in torrential rain). They haven't punctured yet. The fine knobbles wear down on the rear at about 1500 km, but then you are left with a Schwalbe One 😉 , The front looks like new. I was concerned about going to such a wide higher volume tyre (Schwalbes come up large already), but need not have worried. Times for my training loop are unchanged.

This is in comparison with Vittoria Corsa G+, which I race, Paves, which I race and train on, and Continental GP 4 Seasons (which feel dead by comparison).

If you plan on racing, then get the Ones, plenty of people are racing them at the moment. My Ones suffered a terminal 1cm slice (rear) and a hole (front) that would not seal and hold more than 50 psi.

2nd that, except I used mine on Hope 20fives. the g -one speeds are a great commuter tyre

Generally, I've been quite happy with the 2.35" TLE I fitted to my Wazoo 29er wheels ~2 months ago.

Almost tempted to buy the 30mm wire bead version for £17 each at https://www.merlincycles.com/schwalbe-g-one-speed-raceguard-wired-tyre-700c-102379.html

I have the Pro-Ones. I find the grip lacking in the wet and they wear quickly. Against that, they feel incredibly supple, have good dry grip, roll well and are light.

Thanks all.
CRC now have S-Ones back in stock at £34 and the cheap 28mm Pro-Ones are now all gone.
Decision's been made for me. 🙂
