I just bought a new dynamo hub wheel for the tourer, but it came with Schrader drilling. Got a screw on valve adaptor which presumably goes on the outside, but I'm worried about the tube blowing through the hole on the inside of the rim. Any experience?

I had my wheels set up like that for nearly 2 years because I couldn't be arsed getting the right tubes for a last minute ride . Still going strong with no problems at all .

might be being daft here, but wouldn't you put the little plastic insert into the rim valve hole to narrow it down to Presta size?

that's all I've used, some rims come with them or blah off LBS..

I've used rubber ones like Martin says above.

Wheels Mfg does metal ones like these.
