My wife & I road biked from Dalby to Scarborough via the Dalby Forest drive yesterday.
On our return as left the back of Scarborough heading towards Hackness we saw lots of MTB's heading into Scarborough with numbers on.
Anyone know what was taking place?
Rat race the crossing , any body got ideas of numbers who did it .I fancied it but looked expensive ?
I saw loads of them in Swaledale on Saturday....they looked bored silly as by all accounts they rode miles on tarmac...not fun on an MTB. Some right miserable knackers as well, very few responses to my 'Hellos' as I passed on my roadbike.
Is that the crew that (allegedly) take a fair bit of dosh for their rides but provide little by way of the promised support, feeding facilities etc?
There was a thread on here I think, but too lazy and inept at searching to go looking...
There were loads passing through Northallerton on Saturday, I assume they were part of the same event
