Before I take the plunge and cut the hose tonight, can anyone confirm that the rear brake hose should pass to the left of the head tube and not around the headtube as it normally the case on most other bikes.

Thats where mine goes. I don,t think it would be able to attach to the first retainer lug if it did,nt go that way. I could be wrong of course.

I had a quick look to see if it could go around he headtube/stem, but it was very tight radius.
