Beware a scammer, name on paypal Sean madden. Uses user name lnelson123 with lnelson123@hotmail.com as contact email.
When asking for payments uses email TTGVayZaa@hotmail.co.uk .
I've found the pic I was emailed on google images. Had a silly moment and didn't check history.
I sent money paypal gift, Is this down the drain, or is there anyway to recover?
Can mods not delete there profile to avoid others getting the same?

Bland, nice spot. Scammer scammed, perhaps?

A little late for a warm drink. I've just opened a nice bottle of this;
[img] [/img]

I have ice, and nice large glasses. No mixers or any other such rot. Just some lovely rum. On ice.

Right, back to the thread...

The Classifieds are a minefield, it seems. RetroBike has a feedback section. I think it really does appear time for STW to have some way of improving the reporting/monitoring of what is, essentially, fraud.

(BTW, I fully appreciate that almost all on the Classifieds are "real", much like almost all on Ebay etc. However, the small minority do a lot of harm)

Just logged in, seems you gotta be at a computer 24/7. There was no call for that person to slate my name, hence some system is needed on this website. To tired to even explain it here not that it was even revenant to do so. Long story short, goods were posted, mail service ****ed up, poster asked for refund when I was no were near computer. posted the comment on here after no email reply after an hour. I refunded the money then do my usual scan before bed to find customer slating me in same thread as your Lee nelson boyo. Right I'm for bed.

cus·tom·er/?k?st?m?r/
Noun:
A person or organization that buys goods or services from a store or other business.

I believe other definitions beg to differ

No don't think it does

More a question of usage, I think. Same as people using client instead of customer.

ianpinder - you mean people who get nervous when their goods don't turn up on time?

Not those who are nervouse about their goods not arriving, but those who can't wait more then a couple of hours before jumping down someone's neck.

If you send an email, some people only check their email once every couple of days. So yeah get annoyed of you send a couple of emails and hear nothing for 2-3-4 days etc, but not after a couple of hours.

So the person who's been scammed, was then accused of scamming, is now accusing the accuser of scamming him?

Hobnob anyone?
