I'm looking at a possible purchase of a tallboy 3, I'm in between medium and large sizes at 175cm. I can't get to throw my leg over one so anyone of a similar size got any advice? The large is very similar in geometry to the hardtail it would replace apart from seat tube length.

174cm on a large, 50mm stem, SC's seem to size out a little on the short side from my experience.

I'm 178 cm , had a go on both medium and large this weekend .
Definitely the large which still felt a little small compared to my Starling Murmur .

Any good deals on the tallboy at the moment, still a bit gutted I didn’t click the mouse on the grey/rust s spec on eBay for £2.6

I’d go large as well although I’m between sizes

I'm 178cm with a 30-31" inside leg and found the large perfect. The short seat tube means I can run a 150mm dropper without it being too high at full extension (unlike my Whyte G150 with a 125 dropper!).

Stif have some good deals at present, especially on the Plus models. They are cheaper than the 29er to the point that you can buy a second set of wheels and have the option of both sizes. Win win!

I'm 177 cm and just purchased one of the Plus versions in large from Stif. Wondered if it was too big when I first unboxed it as the geometry was so different to my older bikes. But the size is spot once I'd actually got out an ridden it.
