I'm just putting my 2017 Chameleon together and wondered if anyone whose got one on here could help.
I've fitted a shimano bb with one spacer as normal on the drive side - its a 73mm bb shell.
I've got SLX boost M7000 single ring cranks fitted.
Chain line measures 52mm so all should be good but it seems a little wide on the drive side. This is making quite an extreme angle on the chain line when in the biggest cog. The chain stays aren't symmetrical so its hard to know if it should go across more by looking at the gap between crank and stay. The gap is slightly bigger on the drive side by maybe 2-3 mm
Anyone got any thoughts?
Put the spacer on the other side?!
I know that seems like the logical thing to do but I've always followed shimano law and gone on the right. Will the world end if I do it?
It makes no difference in terms of how the chainset works. If it improves the chainlines then go for it.

To be honest I find the chain line on the chameleon a bit odd although can't quite place what it is as it must be standard. Might be the short stays. In the biggest at the back it makes a horrible noise when it's all covered in mucky slop. It's almost as if the angle from ring to the biggest on the cassette is right at the extremes. Fine in the dry but that's not really the point!
