Got chatting to a young lad who was riding my old BMX round ASDA carpark. I got it in 1985 I think, when I was 12. before getting a GT. Hadn't seen it since 1990 when I swapped it for some warhammer miniatures and some paints! he said it was in his family for years and it was some classic BMX race bike. No, it's a Falcon pro with Redline stickers lol!. He'd put some tasty new wheels on it and, of course, taken all the brakes off. Just a bit strange and nostalgic to see it, but ace to think it has been going round town all these years.
I had a falcon pro, White with green decals, it was a hand me down so wasn't quite White when it came to me. I think it had plastic green wheels and seat. Visited a guy by welsh border who has a load of classic bikes and BMXs for sale, he had a burner which I considered buying and restoring. Girlfriend wanted a vintage Dutch style bike the guy has loads, ahh nostalgia.
