You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Managed to get out for a couple of hours just as the sun was setting - did a bit of exploring and found a few ace little paths that I intend to link into my regular route, or may keep separate to make a different route.
On the way back I also did part of my normal route, but in reverse.
Now I know this may sound obvious, but it felt really different! Ups became downs, downs became ups, little roots that I barely notice in the normal direction became awkward on climbs.
So, if any of you get into the habit of always doing your local loop in the same direction - it may be worth giving it a go the other way round!
😀
