Anyone got one of these? I believe it's the same as the RSP Plummet, which has had some reasonable reviews. Sounds good for the price, if a bit heavy.

Is this the one with 3 positions and a whopping big spring inside it, or the later one that’s infinitely adjustable?

If it’s the first one I had the RSP branded version a few years ago and I got it new for £55. Did the job for a first dropper post to dip my toes in the water - but if you can catch the brand x one in a sale for £100 ish it’s much better. Run a 120 and 150 brand x and they’ve been reliable and smooth. I now also have a 180 Oneup and that has a bit less rotational play in it and has a smaller collar / seat post clamp height so you can fit a longer dropper in a smaller space than the brand x.

Ah, I haven’t had one of those. I think it’s usually similar cost to the brand x so I’d go with one of those instead. I’ve seen mixed reviews on the RSP - it felt like more people have had problems with those as a % of ones sold. No evidence to that, just reviews / comments I’ve seen online.

If it were something like £50 new then maybe I’d take a punt on one.
