Myself and a friend are planning to ride Sarn Helen this year. I have a copy of the MBR guidance pack but any advice or guidance from those with experience would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Something I've always wanted to do...I did most of it on a motorbike years back ..It's a great route.....got fairly windy and wet when we did it but it's mostly rocky so should be ok

The section south of the Glyn-Neath area through Walters arena to Neath is tough. Full of large submerged sections that have to be dodged which is time consuming. I would use full sus for comforts sake too.

If taking a Fatbike it would be a shame to shortcut things by picking up a train in Swansea....

gowerton would be better as you could spend 1/2 a day doing a loop around Gower
